Swan Island Lighthouse maintenance
With no keepers to man the Swan Island Lighthouse, maintenance is done by a crew coming onto the lightstation and giving the entire site a makeover.
The usual way was by an amphibious vehicle called a LARC (Lighter Amphibious Resupply Cargo), helicopters or light aircraft.
