The National Parks and Wildlife Service in NSW, along with the Foundation for National Parks and Wildlife and the Vincent Fairfax Foundation, have restored the historic Barranjoey Lightstation. The lighthouse and keeper's cottages have been repaired, sealed and opened to the public, and the surrounds have been landscaped. |

Erika Johnson, former caretaker at Swan Island Lighthouse, reports on her recent trip out to Tasman Island Lighthouse, flying out there by helicopter with the Tasman Peninsular Rotary Club. The lighthouse appears to be well maintained, but the same cannot be said for the keepers' quarters and other out-buildings. |
