Notice of Annual General Meeting
Wednesday 20th September 2006, 7.00pm - 10.00pm (EST)

In the Meeting Room at http://www.lighthouses.org.au/agm_meet.asp

Please note that this is an online meeting that will require you to have access to a computer to participate. Please send acceptance or apologies to secretary@lighthouse.net.au

If you wish to put a motion for discussion at the meeting, it needs to be seconded and received by August 23rd 2006. You may do this by sending your motion via one of the following options:-

Nominations for positions on the LoA Inc. Committee will be accepted until Wednesday 13th September, 7.00pm EST. If there is only one nomination for a position that position will be declared full without need to go to vote. Should there be a position for which there is no nomination, further nominations may be taken on the night. You may post your nominations via one of the options detailed above. Please ensure that you have checked with an individual to ensure that they are prepared to take on a nominated position.

Please note that you must be a financial member to be able to vote. Subscriptions were due as of 1st July 2006 – you will have already received your reminder notice.

The Committee of 2005/2006 look forward to having you join us for this online AGM.

  • State Representatives – Vic, WA, NSW, Tas, Qld, SA, NT
  • International Lighthouse and Lightship Weekend Coordinator

NB: A number of people currently hold more than one of these jobs.

We are always keen to welcome new members to the Committee, however, please note that as we are drawn from across Australia, it is essential that all Committee members have regular access to the internet as most of our communication is by email and occasional online meetings.
