Westlakes Amateur Radio Club is pleased to announced that thanks to the initial effort by John VK2EJP and the co-operation of both Central Coast Tourism Inc. and The Norah Head Lighthouse Trust, Westlakes has gained permission to operate from within the lighthouse grounds during this year's Lighthouse/Lightship weekend, 19-20 August 2006.
Westlakes ARC Committee urges everyone who can make it to Norah Head over that weekend to do so and give support to those who have given of their time to operate VK2ATZ portable during this event.

Tours Norah Head Lighthouse has recently been opened to the public for conducted tours and accommodation. Visit the Central Coast's iconic Norah Head Lighthouse for this special event. Join the Westlakes Amateur Radio Club as they communicate with other lighthouses all over the world. This is a perfect time to join a guided lighthouse tour amongst the hive of activity.
